   Pinewood Derby® Axle Lube $3.99

Improve the performance of your derby car by applying this lubricant to the center of the hub between the wheel and axle! Dry white powdered lubricant includes an additive that clings to smooth surfaces for improved lubrication. Won't stain. Comes in a "puffer" tube.

 

High Speed Pinewood Derby® Graphite $4.99

NEW!  This product is a high carbon graphite used to lubricate the wheels of a Pinewood Derby® car for increased speed and performance during a race. Tube-O-Lube is an odor free, extra-fine dry powdered lubricant which is dark grey/black in color. Graphite should be used with adult supervision only. Check local race rules for regulations regarding the indoor use of graphite. Technical information: Carbon Content 95%; Partial Size +325 mesh (approx. 44 micron); Quantity 0.21 ounce in a resealable puffer tube.

This patented new guard will keep your Pinewood Derby® car wheels aligned and secure race after race. Designed exclusively for BSA®, this under car plate has a ridge that slides right into the pre-cut axle groove to straighten and secure the axle to the car body.

Its unique design allows for adequate track clearance and has no interference with the performance of your car. It is simple to understand and includes 4 screws per plate, making it easy to apply to the car. The guard can also be used to repair broken or chipped axle grooves. Each plate is made of lightweight plastic. When applied with the 8 screws provided, 2 plates will add .2 oz to the weight of your car.

This 2.3-oz., triangular flat zinc weight is scored so sections may be broken off to gradually adjust weight downward. Predrilled holes make installation easy. Screws included.

The Pro Axle Guide consists of a precision CNC machined aluminum base with a tumble polished finish and a precision laser cut stainless steel adjustable tab held together with a zinc-plated flat-head Allen screw. Axle insertion- ensures accurate mounting of axles (in axle slots) to improve alignment. Accurate alignment is critical for top speed! Wheel-to-body spacing - establishes the correct gap between the wheel hub and car body. The proper gap minimizes car wander and reduces excess contact between the car body and the wheel hubs. Reduced risk of block damage - during the insertion process the Pro-Axle Guide provides support to the wood around the axle slot, minimizing the risk of damage.

The Pro Body Tool is a precision CNC machined sizing pin made from C.R. steel with zinc plating for corrosion protection. Ensuring proper axle fit by reaming undersized wheel bores (great for wheels that don't fit on the mandrel!). Ensures accurate rotation by squaring the inner wheel hub to the wheel bore for proper mounting on a Wheel Mandrel. Reduces the wheel hub to a car body braking effect by accurately and easily coning the inside wheel hub.

Carefully cut out the add-ons you choose, paint them, and glue them to your car. Each add-on sheet contains four sets of fenders, one set of exhaust pipes, one engine, one spoiler, three hood scoops, and four canopies, plus vents and lights. Add-ons are made of PVC, making them practically weightless. 

PINEWOOD DERBY® TOOL SET $18.99

All the tools you need to cut, shape, and sand your derby car! Handy tool set includes a coping saw with wood handle, four blades, a multipurpose four-in-one hand file, a sanding stick with fine 240 grit sanding belt, and an extra super fine 400 grit sanding belt. The sanding stick allows you to rotate the belt 360 degrees for complete use. Belt can be used dry or with water or oil.        

 

  NEW! Pinewood Derby® Mandrel Tool $7.99

    The Pro Wheel Mandrel is a Precision machined holding tool made from C.R. steel with zinc plating for corrosion protection. Accurately machined shaft allows for precision use in any drill chuck or Dremel-type tool. Step-down on shaft allows BSA wheels to be mounted with the "spokes" facing the drill chuck, simplifying work on the inside edge of the tread. Knurled thumb screw eliminates the need to use a screwdriver to mount a wheel (a clumsy operation with the standard mandrel). Beveled thumb screw ensures that the wheel mounts accurately on the mandrel. Screw can be replaced should it be lost or bent.
